American Legion Auxiliary Unit #147

Clovis American Legion Auxiliary Unit #147 was formed in March, 1925, and has served the community from that day forward. Currently with a membership of 130 senior members and junior (under age 18), Unit #147 maintains a busy schedule supporting local programs such as Americanism, Girls' State, College Scholarships, various Childrens' and Youth Programs, The Children's Miracle Network and Hero's Award.
Jean Caiazza, President of Unit #147 for 2006-2007, guides the Unit's activities. Unit #147 continues its fine local work funded entirely by the efforts of the membership. Fundraising activities include the annual Boutique and Luncheon, held in November, cake sales, dinners, raffles and member dues.
